Poor service

Early November 2017 I took out an"LIT Telkom unlimited home internet and voice plan" contract at Telkom Kolonade. The contract included a free android tv media box. After my landline and modem was installed i found out from the Telkom technician that the outlet, in this case Telkom Kolonade was supposed to provide me with the tv media box. He also informed me that they were out of stock as all the tv media boxes were recalled months ago due to technical problems they devices/unites were giving. This the saleperson new but purposely withheld from me in order to make a sale at the time. I went back and forth to Telkom Kolonade on several occasions to order and provide me with a tv media box as I have cancelled my DSTV subscription but all to no avail. The only excuse I'm being provided with is that they brought this problem under the attention of Telkom Head Office as I am not the only one, but in turn they are only told that there are no stock available, not even in their warehouse. In the meantime I have to pop out the subscription fee of R799 per month for something I do not have. Where is the fairness in all that???
