Poor customer service at both the store and call Centre

On Sunday the 8th October 2017 I visited Telkom store in Vaal Mall( Vanderbijlpark ) for an upgrade to the laptop. The lady who helped me did ask if I want an upgrade to the existing number or do I want to start a new contract? I then answered her by saying I want an upgrade with the existing number without explaining the difference between the two. She then processed the upgrade and gave me my tablet. When I arrived home I tried to connect the laptop to the wifi router and I did not win. I then called the call Centre yesterday the 17/10/17 and the gentleman advised me that my wifi router will only be available today. After work I tried to connect the wifi router to the laptop and it connected but was struggling to get the Internet connection until I call the call Centre and being helped by some lady who made me aware that my contract that is coming to an end only expires on the 2nd December 2017 and with the upgrade I am going to forfeit the previous benefits as the new upgrade will be kicking in with its new benefits. My point here is according to the CPA the new product or upgrade was not discussed with me, 2. The benefits also were not discussed as I should have made an informed decision should I have been told about forfeiting my tablet benefits. 3. The call Centre lady told me that she does not know when will the new upgrade kick in so now I am sitting with a laptop + a wifi router that are not working in the house. I have asked the call Centre lady to transfer me to a superior and guess what? There way she was so rude to me she placed me on hold for more than 45min without my call being attended until I dropped the call myself because I can see that Telkom staff doesn't live by its company values. The staff careless about the clients who puts the money for their salaries on the table. So it is not even 14 days yet and I believe I can return the laptop together with the wifi router to the store where I bought it. I want to cancel everything and take my business somewhere where they will value me as the client. And again I am demanding a written letter of apology from the lady that I last spoke to at call Centre because I believe she lacks morals, she's not well trained or she's at the wrong department for working with clients.
