Poor, Bad, No Service... Incorrect Accounts, Poor Migration of Services...

The last week has been a struggle to resolve my account on migration of services from ADSL to Fibre with Telkom which took place a month ago. If I knew it would be this difficult I would have rather found an alternative service provider and cancelled my services with Telkom all together. Customer service 3 times tried to make the experience somewhat pleasurable with promises to resolve the issues 3 weeks back (including a manager - Kasaval Naidoo ), which resulted in my account still not being accurate. Now dealing with Nosipho (Manager from the billings department - ********** who does not even have the courtesy to keep a customer up to date with a query that is a week old, who drops the phone in a customers ear with no call back and who does not respond to any of the emails forwarded on to her, how do you resolve matters in today's day & age where a service provider of the "future" cannot even resolve a simple account issue. Telkom, you should seriously relook at the staff you employ as your customer service is AWEFULL

So yet again another 48 hours passed and still no feedback. Was on the phone to Moses (Teamleader) from the billings department yesterday with full commitment to give me a call back at end of the day on feedback to the query, NO FEEDBACK! How do we resolve issues on accounts if the actual staff employed to do this cannot even assist. This whole exersize is now costing me money, time and stress which in teh first place should not have happened!

The story get's more interesting... now my initial query logged by Nosipho Stofile - Team leader 7 days ago was incorrect and will be rejected, Account Query : Original- ********** 2 : New- ********** 35, and again another 7 day waiting period apparently. Is this because Telkom feel they have Monopoly over these services in SA that they feel they do not need to provide any customer service or is it due to the staff just not being capable of doing their jobs, I wonder??? Their service offering is great, but the customer service (staff lacking the experience and willingess to assist and meet their commitments) makes this an ABSOLUTE UNPLEASANT experience... A serious downfall for Telkom which if they can get this right, could change customers perception completely...
