Phone lines off for 6 weeks, pathetic response from Telkom

<p>Its been over 6 weeks since both my Telkom lines are down. Despite numerous telephone calls to Telkom, the lines have not been fixed. My phone number is printed on all my advertising as I run a home based business . Aside from the costs I am incurring ie: calling from my mobile phone, using internet cafes for all my internet and faxing and losing out on potential income when customers can not get hold of me. In addition to the inconvenience Telkom has the audacity to charge me for line rental for a service im not being provided with. Its beyond my understanding as to how Telkom can be so detached from their customers needs. To date there has not even been a technician who has come out. Instead all we hear is that they waiting for materials from one department to another. In the meantime I am losing out on business which I will never be re -imbursed for . </p>
