I changed banks last year, and since then, I have paid my account religiously 25th or 26th of the Month. I have never had an email or a call to say that paying by EFT is unacceptable. Yesterday I got my latest invoice and I was charged over R200 for a payment rejection fee - FOR WHAT? I mean surely if they get a message over a year every month that the account does not exist, then it surely does not exist. I called Telkom today and they refuse to credit this. They also refuse to cancel debit order. I prefer to pay by EFt and I can not see that this is a problem. My line has never been suspended I pay on time every single month. I just feel its really unfair as I pay ontime every month and if that was a problem then why not call me? I will reinstate debit order if that is the only option but then I want this amount credited. I refuse to pay this as I am not a bad payer at all!
