Payment Rejected due to insufficient funds
I am posting on HelloPeter as I am desperate. I made two payment on August and September to my Telkom Account from my Capitec Bank account. Telkom Rejected both my payment due to insufficient funds on my side although it is impossible to make an internet payment from your internet banking without having funds in your account and it no point did I have a balance in my capitec account which was less than the payments in any case. I logged a call with Capitec Bank and they confirmed that the money was paid over to Telkom. This month I receive a statement and without me having done anything these rejected payments showed up again but this time as received? Due to these payments being rejected Telkom then went and processed an old debit order, after i changed my payment method to cash, against an old account which bounced for which I am incurring costs for the rejection at FNB. To top that Telkom is also charing me R 180.53 before VAT due to the bounced debit order which should never have been processed in the first place! Helpdesk response: \How would you like us to proceed sir!". I am desperate!!!"""
