Paying full for half of what's expected
I am currently residing in Durban, I've had a telkom landline for the past 12 years or so, recently I decided to take out a wifi deal for the purpose of campus to help with assignments and work in the household. I am on an uncapped 4 meg line for the past 3 months. in the last 3 months I've been having hell. my download speeds are ok ranging between 2 to 3 mbps but my upload speed is pathetic, ranging between 0.01mbps to 0.19mbps. I've made numerous attempts with telkom to resolve this problem and according to them it has been fixed. I had a technician come out to me and assess the line who told me everything should be fine but I'm sitting her now in the same problem with no upload speed. what's the use in paying for wifi when I can't even upload my assignments online and why can't telkom fix a problem if they charging me for their services? Pathetic really. And I can't even call in to complain coz with telkom all they do is tell you they're experiencing high call volumes and trust me you should be prepared for atleast a 30 minute wait. Unbelievable
