Paying for something i do not have.

I recently signed up for the Telkom LTE wireless offering in Gauteng. After it taking 8 days before being contacted about my successful online application, a sales agent contacted me. They took all the necessary details and said they will contact me as soon as everything has been finalised. I received an SMS from Telkom telling me to have money in my account as i will be debited of the R599.00 which happened the very next day. After being successfully debited by Telkom, the sales agent called me the very same day to tell me that my application was successful and i should expect delivery within the next 3 days and i would receive a tracking number for the product. This was 6 days ago and i still haven't received any call or tracking number. I called the call centre to find out what the problem may be and i was told that on their system no payment was made to Telkom but i do have an account with them. This is utter nonsense. I was then transferred to the sales team where i was placed on hold for 40 minutes then they hung up. I really want to know why I have paid for something i do not have? Not only is this disgraceful customer service but theft too.
