Paying for non existing ADSL line
I app**** for a 4Mbps ADSL line installed on 20 Jan 2015. It NEVER worked properly.<br> I reported a fault on 16 Feb 2015 that my 4Mbps ADSL line was operating at less that 1Mbps. My router's BER test fails, also tested with a friends router with same failed results clearly indicating fault with the line. I only got an sms from Telkom that I would be contacted within 2 days. For two weeks I called 10210 everyday waiting for more than an hour before I hang up. Once I got through to a consultant who told me that the problem is linked and that it's a fault in the entire area and that they're attending to the problem (my friends ADSL works perfectly and he lives very close to me). Two days ago just after I paid the first bill of more than R800 the line went down, no connection at all. I tried to call again and still waiting for a consultant to pick up. I can't log another fault because the system won't let me. Fault ref number 74CTK160215. Please if there's anyone at Telkom with more than half a brain cell please help me with this?!?!?!?!
