Pay more for something you dont need

<p>The Sandton city telkom store advised me on an appropriate LTE deal for my home. I gave them the specifics of what I will be using it for and they suggested the 20+20 deal including WiFi range extender for R440. The flat I live in is very small and the salesman made it seem as though I was getting the range extender for free, however a week later I found out that I could pay 399 for a package without the range extender (my range extender is still unused in the box). I natuarally went back to the store to change to that package however they said I would have to wait there for half a day as the processes to do this take very long. I do not have half a day to fill out paper work and wait for their processes to correct something that their salesperson could have dealt from the start. I would avoid telkom stores and just compare options online at afrihost (they are far more transparent and accommodating).</p>
