Pay back what you owe me!

On 22 Dec 2017 I wanted to buy 40GB for R349 on my sim card that is in my router. Telkom self-help systems were all down. I called the call centre for help. Agent loaded 20GB data for R249 instead, by mistake. I asked him to fix the problem, and he said he can't, it's not possible, but he will get someone to call me to rectify. Nobody called.

Eventually I had to buy two 20GB bundles for R249 each (= R500), instead of the 1 40GB bundle for R349. So I want my R150 back, as this was not my fault. Out of desperation I also had to transfer very expensive data from my phone to my LTE sim, just to remain online, because I ran out. I also want to be compensated for that.

I have called a ridiculous amount of times, and spent MANY MANY HOURS on the phone with Telkom to get it sorted out. I have proof of this! HOURS!! To sort out TELKOM'S MISTAKES!!? Every time I called, I had to tell the same story. And every single time I was told someone will call me back, but no-one ever does!! Only once did somebody call me back. She couldn't understand the problem, and said she will call me back again, but then she also never did!

I have a whole list of team leaders that I have spoken to, which I will gladly make available. I also have my own voice recordings. Including recordings where Telkom has admitted that the agent was at fault, and that the money needs to be paid back to me.

I can call Telkom again now, explain the problem again, get told that they agent can't help me, but they will escalate it, and that someone will call me back, but no-one will EVER EVER call me back. So I have reached an endless loop.

Telkom is clearly counting on the idea that I will get tired of phoning and telling this story only to be ignored. But this is principle!!

After listening to the voice recordings, Telkom has ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THEY ARE AT FAULT 3 WEEKS AGO!! They just don't want to do the refund.

It's been 5 weeks already!!!!
