Pathetic Service & Poor Communication S****s
Shoo, where to start. Telkom, in my opinion, does not value their customers. Call Centre agents are ***********. Seems they working on different systems. They don't stick to their own policies. The list is endless. So here goes. I bought a 30GB Mo'Nice promotion at R10.00 valid for 2 days on 31 March 2019. After being online for close to an hour I got disconnected. I had no signal problems. Here's where my problems really started. I called the Telkom Call Centre to find out why I was disconnected and my complaint was referred to "Technical" which could take up to 72 hours to resolve. Telkom's policy is also that cases need to be resolved in 72 hours. So here's my case number: ********** 8. Then I called to follow up on 1,9,13,21,24,26 April as well as 9 May 2019. I went through 3 agents, 1 team leader and 1 manager with absolutely no joy. They are the most *********** bunch I've ever dealt with. So, apart from not getting my issue resolved I never got an outcome from "Technical" on their findings within 72 hours. The case was never closed after 72 hours. Then when I questioned why the case was never closed according to their policy it was miraculously closed with a follow-up call after I brought it to their attention. Andile Tau was supposed to close the case. Then I dealt with Thokozo and Kamogelo Moremi who it seems to me worked on two different systems by contradicting one another in so many ways. The one could see my email to ********** and read it word for word while other couldn't. The one claimed I bought 1GB while the other could see on the system that I bought 30GB. The one claimed I used 200MB while the other claimed I used close to 4GB. Then I had to send the same mail to ********** for the case to be escalated. They made empty promises of making sure someone will call me back to resolve the case, needless to say, that never happened or I was a fool to believe it. I got no confirmation of receipt for the emails nor a reply. So much for professionalism. Kamogelo Moremi even said she'll put a reminder for herself to follow up with her team leader. One problem that I realised in this country is that consumers pay for stuff they don't get and these big corporates get away with it in the name of being offline, system error etc. Capitalism at its best. That's a load of **** because there's a human being feeding that system with information. Hopefully, I'll get some closure to this issue once and for all.
