PATHETIC SERVICE FROM TELKOM SA

E-Mail sent to Telkom as well, Mail below explains the problem. TO: TELKOM CEO & MANAGEMENT RE: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE RECEIVED FROM TELKOM SINCE JANUARY 2017

During December 2016/ January 2017, we relocated from Pinetown to Betal, Mpumalanga, During January 2017 we requeste that our Telkom line be “moved” from Pinetown ***) to Bethal, Mpumalanga and we received our new number being ***. From thereon it was downhill all the way with services received from Telkom. Kindly take note that we changed and confirmed our address several times with your call centre when we called to log a problem/fault/query. *This line is also our internet & e-mail services line*

Since our relocation on 5 January 2017 to Bethal, Mpumalanga, we battled for almost a month to get our service moved and connected in Bethal. Thereafter service to us was interrupted a lot of times. I will supplyt you with these references to claim back for services paid to you, but never used or that we were not able to use. If you need this references.

On 07 October 2018, our telkom line just went dead. We called and reported it. The agent gave us ***. No further feedback was received.

On 09 October 2018, we called again. The agent, Nonyama, informed us that the problem is a bulk fault and that there is no turn around time. ***. No Feedback was given on this problem, although the agent said she will keep us up to date.

During November 2018, we once again called to find out what is happening. We gave our ref number as previously received. The agent informed us that the cables that were ******, is not getting replaced at all! We have to apply/order for the wireless package that will include a hands free phone and our internet services. This will be done free of charge, seeing that the cables that were ****** are not getting replaced.

On 16 November 2018 we called and ordered this service. We received REF NO: ***A. Unfortunately this order “got lost” on Telkom’s side, because this was NEVER delivered to us at all. (I find this utterly unprofessional service from Telkom).

On 31 May 2019, we called once again to follow up, only to be informed that there were NEVER an order for us requesting this service. We spoke to Nthombo Nkulu and once again ordered the abovementioned service. Ref no: 243852.

KINDLY TAKE NOTE: It is now been almost 1(one) year since we did not have any telkom line or internet services, including our e-mail service from telkom. In this process, we already lost/ or is loosing ALL our bank statements and other important e-mails. I also want to inform you, as Telkom Management, that in the event that i stand a chance to loose my payout from my previous employer, due to my hearing loss claim, I will hold TELKOM fully responsible and i will continue with legal acion againt Telkom in this regard.

On 02 July 2019, I received an sms reading as follows: “Telkom SA: Dear customer, thank you for ordering a Telkom service. Your Order ***A is receiving attention. You will receive further communication shortly. Kindly e-mail us at *** should you require assistance”.

On 04 September 2019, i received an sms informing me that my Telkom Order THD***1 was handed to the courier company for delivery and that I can track my order through the link you attached in the sms. I opened the link... just to see that to my surprise.. TELKOM is sending my package to 30 GORDON ROAD PINETWON!!!! (Courier-it is the couriers).

Now i ask.... How many times did we change our address? How many references and calls later, wherein we confirmed our address.... you STILL manage to send our package to the WRONG ADDRESS! Pathetic, pathetifc, pathetic. ************************************************************************************************************* Thus, during the past year and a half, we had NO service or assistance from Telkom. If we go to your Telkom Branch in Secunda, they just say they cannot help or assist us, we must call customer care. The one staff member at Telkom Secunda also informed us that now need to pay a fee to enable us to keep our current e-maill address being ***, if we get the wireless package. Thus said.. We are NOT willing to pay this fee... Why should we pay, if TELKOM decided that they are not replacing cables and that we must go over to wireless services???

We call customer care, but it seems that the staff there is to imcompenent to do their work, seeing that they cannot help and assist us.

Now i want to know, wihtin the next 2 (two) business days when my package will be delivered to my correct adress being: BETHAL, MPUMALANGA, seeing that this is my address for the past 3 years already.

DO YOU STILL WANT ME AS A TELKOM CUSTOMER? YES OR NO. As simple as that.

I would appreciate an answer within the next 2 business days, therefore at the latest on Friday, 13 September 2019. NO CALLS from Telkom will be accepted, seeing that we do not get any feedback or service via calls.

I would appreciate it if an AFRIKAANS SPEAKING consultant will come and talk to my face-to-face at my residence in Bethal to sort this problem out and to ensure that my package is exactly the same as the one I had in Pinetown.

Kind Regards
