Pathetic Service from Telkom Mobile

I have several case numbers pending with Telkom Mobile and nobody can assist me. I went into Telkom Richards Bay on the 24th August to upgrade my cellphone contract which was an absolute nightmare, if i knew it was going to be such a problem i would have NEVA upgraded as i am being incorrectly charged. No one at Telkom Richards Bay can assist, all they do is create a case number and at the moment i have four pending case numbers. Telkom have taken the inccorect amount off my bank account as a debit order which i had to reverse and get charged a fee by my bank and now i have a bad credit rating at my bank.

If i knew what i know today about TELKOM MOBILE i would have never in my life renewed my cell phone contract with them, they are useless and pathetic.

Thank you for your reply, I really wish I could say all has been sorted out now but I feel that it’s actually gotten worse.
After posting my complaint on Hello Peter on Monday, the same afternoon I went into the Telkom Richards Bay Branch and demanded to see the Manageress. The sales consultant, as usual made excuses and said that is impossible. This fuelled my anger even more as I was just so sick and tired of this problem. I actually threw a tantrum there and this got me the meeting with the Manageress. After explaining my two problems with her, she said she “will see what she can do” as they generally don’t deal with case numbers, they just log them.
The very same day, late afternoon I received an email from the lady at the billing department stating I was passed a credit of R2300.00, but that this will only be reflected in my November invoice. I am still wary of this as I was also told this in September but nothing came of it, hence my frustration. I was actually planning to go into the branch today after work to try and sort out the second part of my problem; the porting of my number but after what has happened this morning I’m feeling very overwhelmed.
Early this morning I received a call from the Manageress of the Telkom Richards Bay branch (12-10-2016) and she was demanding to know why I had complained on Hello Peter, when she had told me that she would try to assist me. I tried to explain that the complaint was logged on before my meeting with her but she wouldn’t listen. The more I tried to explain the more she shouted and spoke above me.
I proceeded to explain my frustration with Telkom and more so with her branch, as they failed to help me during all my visits previously. I mentioned that I must have been into the branch ± 10 times already. This statement angered her even more and she stated that it’s impossible and that she would have to look at the cameras as she doesn’t believe what I am saying is true. Basically she was calling me a ****, and I do not appreciate this. I have FIVE case numbers for the same problem. All of these cases were logged at the branch. Furthermore I also made numerous other visits just to check up on the updates of the case numbers. The Manageress mentioned she just had to make one call and my problem was sorted. Had she taken the time to listen to me during my first request at a meeting with her, instead of pushing me over to the staff we would not have reached this stage.
After the call ended I was very upset and emotional. I felt very unsettled and decided to contact the Manageress and tell her how I felt. She answered but stated she was busy and will call me back. She did return the call a few minutes later but instead of us being amicable, it just got worse. She continued to be rude and loud. She kept insinuating I was lying. She even put me on speaker phone and had the other staff members vouch for her. Basically they all ganged up on me and made me seem like a ****.
I have no reason to lie. Everything boils down to their service. If I had received the service I deserved we would not be in this situation. I feel overwhelmed and violated by your Telkom Richards Bay Manageress She is unprofessional and rude and clearly needs to go on a customer service course. If the head of the branch portrays such despicable behaviour then how can she be a role model or leader to her staff? I am actually feeling very unnerved now as I still need my number to be ported and I honestly feel I will be victimised and treated badly should I go into the branch. I feel so emotionally exhausted at this point and really don’t know what to do anymore. I really wish I could turn back time and not have taken this contract.
