PATHETIC SERVICE FROM TELKOM

9 May I spoke to Nombeko regarding ADSL line connection and Smart essential service package for my mothers lan line. Various communication and poor service handled by Telkom on this matter took place. No response from Sibonyelo Maphalala the supervisor.

Eventually Nivesh Chitbahal assisted and we came to an agreement for a deposit of R700 to be paid in for the package.

On 10 May spoke to Lee at 10:00 and a payment code was given to me for the deposit payment at a post office. On 13 May payment was unable to be made and an eft code and reference was given to me by Smee at 11:45. Payment was made but no follow-up was made from telkom or no further communication ensured.

On 24 may spoke to Brett on this matter and he advised me that the deposit was incorrectly allocated by Telkom as first payment on my mother’s account...Well done telkom.

Spoke to Primi on 24 May in Finance and raised a dispute. Again no communication from telkom

On 27 May spoke to Zakia who advised me that the order was processed and approved and that i could collect the modem at Chatsworth branch to expedite the process.Surprise surprise that Chatsworth telkom advised me that the order has been cancelled... within an hour of the last call this was cancelled and NO ONE, NO ONE can tell me why!!!!

Further communication took place with Prett at 1130 and then supervisor Kaylyn who assisted me as the Chatsworth branch was no willing to do so as the order was via the call center and not at their branch.

Eventually, Verona Nundhlall cancelled the first order of smart home essential and we signed the documents in store for a telkom simple plan on 27 May ....again I hoped this would have been resolved by telkom....

Sadly again poor poor service. Over 10 e-mails and communication, Verona advised me on e-mail that the order was approved, processed and that the technician would deliver and setup the modem on Monday 20 June.

On 22 June no Telkom technician nor service. Verona advised again that she would look into this and again NO Response.

On 28 June again after enquiring again on the status of the order, Verona advises that she is on leave and to contact her branch Manager Zodwa Mkhwanzi. Really **** SERVICE!!! Sad that even a supervisor that should have been able to resolve this matter for me is worse than the call center, and this again being a supervisor...This the best supervisory that telkom has to resolve matters at a branch, no contact details for the manager or and other follow up process. Well done telkom on employing Garbage.

It appears that the Call Center to the Telkom branch is as inept, incapable of doing ANYTHING right. For an organization that deals in communication, your COMMUNICATION system in dealing with customers is the worst that there is. I have recently dealt with OUTSURANCE on a claim. I suggest that telkom send all your staff to them for training in customer services and go learn a bit on proper service.

It is further sad that I have to reduce myself to this language... **** SERVICE TELKOM. I contacted the call center today, 29 May and I am STILL waiting for a stupidvisor to contact me. I was informed by Tracey at 08:17 that Tupelo would call… Really…I’m not expecting anything from Telkom **** service

I WILL be sharing this complaint on all social media networks as Telkom fails to contact, communicate, resolve any of my problems. Telkom staff are ***** that promote a service, sell a service but do not provide the service!!!! As long as the order is done and completed on their part, that’s all that matters to them. We as a client and a customer must go begging thereafter, constantly phoning their call center, constantly getting worthless reference numbers, constantly getting promises for calls from supervisors, wasting our time and money on worthless service from Telkom!!!!
