Pathetic Service

Poor service received from Telkom mobile! I purchased a Samsung A32 cellular phone from Telkom in November 2021 for my wife. 1 week later the phone started giving me problems - it kept indicating to refresh sim data and I was unable to use my phone for most of the day. I took it to the Telkom store and they assisted by doing a sim swap. Thereafter, the phone continued to malfunction. I took it back to the store and this time they assisted by changing the system settings, the problem was not resolved and they eventually referred me to a Samsung store. I went to the Samsung store and was not assisted, I was advised by the store assistant to go back to Telkom store. I went back to the Telkom store and reported the matter. They logged a fault online and said someone will call and assist, no one did (to date), so I went went back to the store and reported that the phone is still troublesome. The phone froze and I was unable to use my phone for a few weeks. I returned to the store and reported the issue. The phone was then booked in and sent into the tech department for assessment and possible repairs. 2 weeks later my phone was ready for pickup. The report indicated that the sim reader was replaced and the phone is in working order. I took the phone home and after 2 days the same problem existed. The problem was never resolved and now it's worse, my phone switches off while in use, it also freezes and unable to play videos and access apps and phone features, I am unable to even make an emergency call. This is absolutely frustrating as my phone is used for work purposes and to keep in touch with my family .I am utterly disappointed with the pathetic service I received especially being a long standing customer of telkom. The phone should be replaced with a brand new one. All the problems I encountered occured in less than a year and is a true indication that this is a reject phone. I am a very dissatisfied customer. I am paying for a faulty phone which I am unable to use. I do not advise anyone to use Telkom as a service provider!
