Pathetic service by Telkom

Contracters were busy in our suburb Newlands, Pretoria repairing water pipes. We then noticed that our Telkom landline and Internet service was not working. A call to Telkom showed that the contracters had severed the Telkom line near our home affecting the Telkom network. The original expectation was 4 days. We have now been without service for double that. We need repairing ASAP as our financial status is dependent on Internet access. In the past with various problems Hellopeter had always been a great help. I am counting on you now to please get this issue sorted for us. It will be highly appreciated as it seems the parties in question are dragging their feet to maximum extent. It is month end and we are needing access urgently.

The fault reference given to me was 163CTK190916 for Service ID **********

Hi Willemien
Unfortunately cables have been ****** again in your area. It normally takes a bit of time to resolve such faults, this is what you can do for now.
Visit any Telkom Shop with your ID book and proof of residence and ask for a Telkom Internet integrated sim card. That way you can still use your TI data via a Telkom 3G/LTE network till your line is resolved
