Pathetic Service @ Telkom Customer Care!!!

Upon my umthetine follow up with Telkom Customer Care as well as there Insurance service provider.

I am currently without my Mobile phone for more than a month and the lack of service/follow up is unacceptable.

I have been given the runaround from all parties mentioned above & i feel as a customer/consumer this is not what service is all about.

I have been patient, I have been reasonable & yet no result or turn around time confirmed by either my service provider (Telkom) or its insurance company linked to the Telkom brand as suggested in store.

I was advised upon activating my contract with Telkom to take out this particular insurance as I was reassured that my device would be covered for all damages from the moment i left the store. However as per the above information i am still without my device & have no idea as to when i would expect a follow up call from either parties.

On Saturday 21st March i had to follow up again, after sending below email requesting feedback & nothing happened 48hrs later still waiting hence my call again on Saturday with no joy.

I find the service or the lack thereof unacceptable & i would like to make it known that the Brand in question clearly do not have their clients best interest at heart. Again, it seems all they want is to tie you into a contact & milk you for the monthly payment without delivering service..

I don't even want to mention my rights regarding the CPA act that is not being fulfilled between customer & service provider. I am well within my rights to escalate the matter further, however again i am giving Telkom the opportunity to resolve the matter with me directly but without success..

I have been reluctant to do Hello Peter however you have left me no choice as i have had no clear indication of the progress regarding my Mobile phone & as you know we need these devices in our daily operations not just for communication personally but for work & additional applications to make our lives easier.
