Pathetic new order service

After one month of placing an order telkom comes to install a line and provides me with a number that I give out to my entire contacts lists then I cant make calls saying my account is suspended due to non payment. Hello I just got a line....then I call the call centre and after 1hour I get told that i need to activate it and that i will be able to make calls ... ten minutes later my line does not work and if dialed i get this number does not exist then I call the call centre again to be told the number belongs to someone else and that my line is still under construction. What Bull is this.... and now am on hold for two hours..... how can you allocate a number and then say sorry its someone elses.....
