Pathetic customer service!!

I have sent on several occasions, via email, telephone and store visits to have my services cancelled and be reimbursed what is due to me! Kindly note that I do not have any reference numbers for telephonic communcation as Telkom claims not being able to provide customers with reference numbers for queries– they advised that their updates/comments will be noted on the account and reference numbers are not required.

I have spoken to quite a few agents, namely Naveshin on 13 June at 16h25. I also spoke to Olatse on 30 June at about 16h48 where he advised that I had a R386 credit balance (I received a Telkom sms stating that in fact I had a R440 credit balance)

I requested cancellation of my Telkom line, ADSL and Data line on 30 May 2016. Telkom requires 30 day notice and hence cancellation was supposed to be effected as at 30 June 2016. Had my Telkom line been terminated on 30 June, I would have received a refund pro rata 1 July -4 July.

Currently I am being billed a month in advance – and 25 June I was debited R655, which shouldn’t have been the case. Due to Telkom not cancelling my services tmeously, I was expected to make provision for another debit order for 25 July which is really disappointing!!

I urgently need to be refunded the R440 that I was in credit for in May as well as my bill for June and July. This is no fault of mine that Telkom can not deliver in servicing their customer.

On the 26 July 2016 i spoke with Rene and have raised another query :Ref: ********** 2 and AGAIN Telkom proves that they are unable to resolve. I have not received any feedback since - this service is really pathetic. It is evident that Telkom does not value their customers.

Should this matter not be resolved urgently, I will escalate this with the Ombudsman.
