Pathetic!

As a business, we make use of a Telkom line.

On the 23rd January 2017, we realized that the fault may be on Telkom's side after having our IT guys out and they could not pick-up whats the problem. (Fault 572CRK200117)

Telkom then infact confirmed that the line is faulty and they will send out a technician.

After several follow-ups, nothing. Everytime they need to log teh fault AGAIN.

So the Saturday, 28th January 2017, a technician apparantly rocks up at the business, with no prior notification, not even on a working day. Ofcourse the business is closed, so no, he says Monday someone will come, they might just be late.

Follow-up on Monday, 30th January 2017, so oh no, they need to log this fault AGAIN. (Fault 515CRK260117)

Not being able to run our business like this, I insisted on speaking to management at least, which ofcourse is not available.

I confirmed the following with Yonela (call centre agent):

Do you have management available - No

Is the fault esculated this time? - Cant check for me

Will we be informed before a technician rocks up? - usually

Do you know if someone is coming out to assist us - "I do not know"

Is this the very best you can do to help your client? - Yes, the very best.

So you cant help me and you cannot provide me with any service or answer, while we keep supporting Telkom, Telkom sits back, receives payment and watch how they help companies go down!

Dear Launa,

Thank you for taking care of this matter so quickly.

The technicians arrived this morning and fixed the problem.

Kind Regards,
