Overcharging - and no help from billing or sales teams...

I have had an uncapped ADSL line with Telkom for many years and generally, the service and product is good. In December 2017 I decided to upgrade my 4mbps uncapped line to a 20mbps uncapped line. I went to the Telkom Shop in Walmer Park, Port Elizabeth and the assistant "Clayton Prince" helped me with the upgrade. I waited the correct amount of time and the line speed increase was there - all was going smoothly. Until I received my first Invoice. I signed up for 20mbps uncapped at R999.00 Per month. My first bill was for 1805.97. I emailed Clayton back, but received no response. I phoned the telkom help line and they created a dispute and gave me a number. By the time my next bill came through, this one for R1521.94, I phoned Telkom back to query my dispute only to be told that it didn't exist...

I have been phoning again and again non-stop since then and have been to the Telkom shop several times - Disputes are logged and then not worked on, promises made, but nothing changes. To date - I have overpaid roughly R3300.00...

Would someone from Telkom please just contact me so I can get charged the correct amount for the service? It shouldn't have to be this difficult for Telkom to keep their word and stick to the price they quoted and are still quoting on their site?
