On the 29/04/2022, I phoned 10217 to dispute my bosses telkom account for her Winterstrand line, as the charges were ridiculous. They were averaging on R11,11 per minute. The reference number was ***9. On the 3/05/2022, I phoned again to check on my dispute. I spoke to Charmaine Morwane @ 11am. She said that the case was still open and that the dispute hadn't been resolved yet. On the 5/05/2022, I phoned again. I spoke to Risile. The dispute was still not resolved. On the 6/05/2022, I phoned 10210- the sales department. They said that I must go onto the Telkom website and download the international rates. According to page 79, we are meant to be charged 80c per minute to an Estonian landline. At 11am I phoned 10217 and spoke to Bongiwe. She said that she couldn't help me as the account holder needs to be the one to call and discuss the charges. At 11h07am I phoned again and spoke to Penelope Sekgobela, she said that the fee's are determined by the country we phone and not by Telkom and that she will send me an email stating this. *the email never came! On the 9/05/2022, I phoned 10217 and spoke to Chanté. She said I must phone the international department for their charges on 10900. I phoned them and they said that their systems were down. On the 10/05/2022, I phone 10217 and spoke to Babalwa. Our dispute was rejected and I must send an email to "***" with a copy of our statements, complaint and our findings of the charges that we were meant to be charged. According to the rejection..."Terrifs for international calls to an Estonian mobile are from R13,63- R27,03 per minute." I told her that the line which we have been dialing isn't a mobile number. It is a landline. She said that I must state that in the email I send them. *sent email at 10h28. At 13h30, I went to Telkom in Hemingways, East London and spoke to the manager- Gloria Bopi. She said that we must phone the billing department for the over charges and speak to the international department on 10903 for the international number being billed as a mobile and not a landline. She emailed the billing department and asked them to phone us. On the 11/05/2022, at 10h30, Ndtombiyise phoned from the billing department to speak to the account holder. Unfortunately Dr. Undritz was not available. She said that she would phone us tomorrow at 10h30 to speak to the account holder. On the 12/05/2022, at 10h40, I phoned 10903 and spoke to Nontobeko, she said that I must phone the billing department as they can only check if we are able to get through to the overseas number we phone. They do not deal with the billing. At 10h45, I phoned 10210 and spoke to Nzikayise. He said that we must redispute each line that was over charged and also send an email disputing our accounts. He said that each dispute takes 48 working hours to be resolved. *** ***, *** ***, *** ***. He said that the "***"email address was not working anymore and that I must use "***". I have also forwarded the response I got from Telia.ee confirming that the line we've been dialing is infact a landline and NOT a mobile number!
