Overbilled and Unable to Cancel Telkom Line+ASDL

Hi

I moved to a new residence on 1 October 2014. I knew about the '30 day notice' rule, so on 27 August 2014, I went to the Telkom shop at Canal Walk and filled in a 'cancellation form'. I explicitly requested that MY ENTIRE TELKOM ACCOUNT (phone line + ASDL + data + everything) be cancelled by 27 September 2014.

As it would turn out though, my ASDL data was not cancelled, and I am still being billed for it. On 27 November 2014, I filled in the cancellation PDF form (which I downloaded from the Telkom website), and sent it to [Email Removed] with a copy of my ID. I have not gotten any reply about this yet, and it looks like I am still being billed for it, even though I have not used it since I moved.

I also logged a dispute (***) in an attempt to have this money (the payments post cancellation) returned to me, but have not received any feedback yet.

I logged another dispute last year after my first cancellation attempt, but it has since disappeared from the Dispute section of the Telkom website. This was for an amount of +-1000. Can you please search for this in your records? I did not record the dispute number.
