OVER CHARGED FROM TELKOM

I had an LTE WIFI account with Telkom and other contracts with them and up until last month when i saw my statement i was disgusted with them. I renewed my sons contract with them as the 2 years was done at that stage i was in the branch and i advise them that i wanted this phone capped at the price as i will only pay the contract amount nothing more. This was at the Glen, i also confirmed that my other contracts including the wifi is also capped and this was said it is and only i can change this and if data required i will have to buy, so my sons that is using it most of the time buy data when it runs out, I mean i get 50GB for day time use and 50GB for night time. They advise that my debit order for January 2020 will be higher as i renewed the contract in the middle of December and i agreed on this. I received my January statement and see that the was higher and i did not go and check it because of my cell phone contract that i renewed. February i received my statement and i was shocked to see the amount is still high and that is when i went in and checked my statement and found out that Telkom is putting DATA for R500 on my account but we always run out of data in the middle of the month. i was fuming and said that they must remove this and that i want a credit for the two months. the advise that they will investigate this and gave me a reference no. 3************773. they said within 3 working days they will get back to me..... well I'm still waiting. Today i receive my statement again and guess what they billed me again for R500 data, believe me i am not usually doing this, i would pay and just let it go but come on people R500 is a lot of money. Today i just have enough and cancelled this LTE internet usage. I received my cancellation message and they say that they will still debit my account for the remainder of the period. I am going to take this matter to the Ombudsman if i don't get any satisfactory from them So people please check your statements as Telkom is making money out of us and we are just paying, well i had enough
