Over a month waiting for wifi router

I ordered a mobile router with Telkom in March. I then received an sms stating that I would receive my order within 3 to 5 days. 3 to 5 days passed and nothing came through.

I then received a call on 17 April from the courier, but they were given the wrong address by Telkom. They had to return the router to Telkom since they aren't allowed to deliver at an address other than the one they were given.

25 April, I called Telkom to check the progress. Ntombinkulu told me that there was a problem with my address. I then asked the lady what she meant by 'a problem with my address'. She then said, I gave Telkom the incorrect address which she gladly read out to me. I then told her I don't know that address and I didn't give that address to Telkom. She then asked me 'Where did the consultant get the address'. I told her I don't know, she then told me consultants don't just 'thumb-suck addresses", but they capture what was given to them.

I went on to ask what the process is in such cases. Ntombinkulu advised that they keep the parcel for 7 days and if you as the client don't call in, they cancel the order. I then asked, how they could cancel my order whereas the fault was on their side. The answer I got was unsatisfactory.

I have now requested the same product a month later and still need to wait another 3 to 5 2 working days.

This is indeed poor service.

Anyone out there at Telkom, please listen to the call recording since "our calls are recorded" and please tell me where the address that the courier was sent to comes from cos it definitely didn't come from me.
