Over 2 months for Telkom to resolve porting issue -still pending

I bought a cellphone contract from Telkom on the 10th of December 2016 and one of my requirements was that I wanted to keep my current number as I use it for business purposes. I was informed by the agent in Sandton City Branch that this was possible and I would be able to keep my current number.

When they tried to port my number their system was not able to send the porting sms to me and they asked me to go to another branch.

The next day I went to the Northgate branch and the same error happened, I was told that the error can not be fixed as it is weekend.

I went to Cradle Stone Branch on Wednesday the 14th of Dec 16 and the agent could not send me the sms for porting. He tried sending himself a message from the system and it worked, we called MTN to check if my sms line was block and they sent me 5 test sms and I received them all. The agent sent me test sms's using the telkom lines and I received all of them except for the porting one. The agent asked me to go back to Northgate. At Northgate they logged an incident report because they said the error is on the system and the IT department has to clean it! On the 22nd of December 2016 I went back to the Sandaton Branch and the Manager took over my case and logged another report with the IT department as he said he could not solve the problem.

On the 16th of January 2017 I received an sms and email telling me that my request was closed without the issue being resolved

I have logged this query on here and Keagan, Launa and Diketso have worked on this request and have not resolved but also closed the query. I do not know what to do anymore as iIjust want to port my number over to Telkom as I cannot change the number as I used it for business purposes.

ID number is ********** 707080 and telkom number is ********** my contact number is ********** 398

This is terrible service from and I am out of words to describe it.
