Outragious service & billings

I called the telkom helpdesk on 30 May 2017 with regards to moving a line from once premises ot another.

The line i had previously was a fibre line(as i was in a fibre area) and the new premises i moved to was unfortunately on a ADSL exchange only.

In requesting the move they said they would setup a new line at the new premises.

Subsequently i got the new ADSL line installed with not much issues. After about almost a month, i get a call to enquire if i would like to upgrade my fibre line to a higher package, whereby i instructed the person that i no longer had fibre as i had requested the service to be moved. They informed me that it still showed that i had a fibre line, and they suggested i call 10210 to ensure that it was actually cancelled.

I subsequently called on the 10 July to ensure this was actually the case with 10210, and they informed me not no cancellation was requested on the fibre, but that the operator agreed that it sounded ridiculous that i was being charged for both considering the situation, and that i should cancel the line, which i said i did not see the reason for it as, it had already been done in applying for a move of line, and that i wanted to speak to her line manager. Her line manager was not available but she assured me that she had spoken to him and that the line manager would process the cancellation but that i would need to deal with the reverse billing with their accounts department. A Week later and i still see this cancellation has not been done, even though it was promised several times. And i am still being billed for a service i dont even have access to.

Why is dealing with telkom every time an entire struggle and if i dare not pay for the service that i am not getting all my other services will be suspended.

Telkom sort your selves out
