Out of Box failure policy doesn't make sense

Got a Mate 20 pro on Friday, not a cheap contract but seemed like a crazy good deal, took it home to find that one of the speakers wasn't working as intended and made crazy crackling noises. Took it back this morning, and after owning the phone for two whole days I find out that they won't replace it and that it needs to be sent in for who knows how long after which they may or may not replace it. So now I'm stuck without the new phone that I'm paying for for an unspecified amount of time, not cool Telkom.
