Ordered ADSL and received a phone line instead

I contacted Telkom a few weeks ago to order the installation of an ADSL line. I was notified that it will be installed yesterday. The technicians came out did the installation promptly and said the line was working and off they went. When I tried to configure my router to use the ADSL I started experiencing problems so I called the call centre only to find out that an ordinary phone line was installed without ADSL being activated at the exchange. I was then told that I need to wait up to 10 days for the ADSL to be activated. I am now paying for a telephone service that I'm not using until Telkom decides to rectify their problem. Well done Telkom!!!
