To Whom It May Concern On the 04 January 2018, I placed an order with Telkom for the January deal order number ( ********** 12A). I spoke to Ayanda and she explained the process to me which entailed the media box and the extender being couriered. I then requested if she could please have these items couriered to my work address instead of my home address hereafter she informed me that this is not their usual couriering process. She then gave me reference numbers for these which was; media box ( ********** 86A) & range extender ( ********** 88A). After our 35 minutes and 56 second call, on the 04 January 2018 at 10:06 Ayanda promised to call me back to inform me whether the couriers would be able to deliver the media box and range extender to my work address. I am still awaiting a call from Ayanda. Later in the next week to my surprise, the route extender was delivered to my house address, luckily there was someone at home. Firstly, I received no notification regarding this delivery at all and secondly Ayanda still did not call me back to confirm where these items will be delivered. The following day I decided to call Telkom to ask why this was delivered without notification and then the back and forth calling started. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I tried calling them on the 09 January 2018 and it took me hours to get through of which I spent almost R300.00 airtime on this one call alone. After discussing with my husband that evening (09 January 2018) we decided we are going to cancel this order because we are not even a client yet but they are already giving us such bad service. On the 12 January 2018 at 08:35 after another 22 minutes and 51 second call I spoke to Nkosinothni and I cancelled the order. He had told me that this needed to be done by Ayanda and she was on another call at the moment. I requested to hold to speak to Ayanda but Nkosinothni insisted that he will make sure that she “executes” the order (I remember that word as I know he was using it in the incorrect context). I said Nkosinothni I really do not mind holding at all but he assured me that he knows Ayanda on a personal level and he trusts her. He reassured me that he will ensure that she goes ahead and cancel the order. After all of this, I then received a SMS form Telkom informing me that installation is scheduled to take place on Friday 19 January 2017. My husband then called them to ask what was this all about and they then said that this order was never cancelled and it is still active on the system. So once again I had given authorisation to cancel it of which they requested my ID number as well as my name and surname in order for the cancellation to take place. Then this morning on 18 January 2018, I receive an SMS to inform me that my Telkom order was loaded onto the courier vehicle and it will be delivered today. I am losing my patients with Telkom now. I know that the SMS this morning was from the Courier company but that is time wasted, delivering a product that I was under the impression was cancelled days ago. Can Ayanda from Telkom or a Telkom representative that has authorisation to cancel this order, please give me a call urgently. Regards Ilsa Fredericks
