One month without internet and poor service
It's been nearly a month now since my ADSL line stopped working and I still don't have it back, despite numerous attempts to engage with Telkom on all social media channels.

End of April, my internet suddenly stops working. No changes on my end. My ISP runs tests on their end and confirm the line. On 25 Apr, I log a fault via @TelkomZA and told that feedback will follow shortly.

Two weeks later, I've heard nothing on any channel. I ask for an update and am assured that the fault has now been escalated and a technician will be there that Friday. No-one shows up.

Since then, I've been desperately trying to get my line looked at via the call centre, online fault escalation form and even talking directly to a technician in the area. My fault has been \escalated"multiple times now.

Yesterday a technician finally shows up with no warning. He says it's the modem (despite the fact that the modem is working fine and my ISP confirmed it's the line) and that I don't have a DSL splitter (despite the fact the line is only used for internet).

A month of waiting and poor feedback and this is all I get? Very angry and frustrated and still without internet. What now?"""
