one month, and still waiting for number to be port

i took out a new contract with telkom mobile in greyville and asked to have my old number ported. i was asked if it was a prepaid number and i rep**** that it was. i was told its fine it will be done by the following day, which was the 1st of october 2015. from then its been excuse after excuse, about the system being offline to she doesnt know why its taking so long to my old service provider has not released the number. there is no feedback from her.
