Not an a futuristic or accommodating company - I WANT SERVICE!!!

From 13th Sept or 14th Sept if I have been trying to arrange that Telkom change my bank details for debit order purposes effective from September, as my old bank account will not have funds, it will be frozen. I was then advised that I only have two options, I pay 10 days prior my debit order date (of which I cant, I dont have the privilege of additional cash lying around for emergencies unfortunately - I would not even consider this as an emergency). Or I must let the debit order go through my old bank account however if funds are not sufficient Telkom will charge me R200 or some against my Telkom account . Bare in mind, I'm already trying to be proactive by letting them know that they will find their money as planned but in a different account, but I'm yet to be severely punished as their customer who wants to pay on time, by occurring penalty fees from Telkom and my own bank will also charge me dishonored fees the bank account is frozen by then. I asked that my matter gets escalated so another solution can be made, my solution was Telkom accommodates this matter somehow without disadvantaging me. To not charge me penalties for this or use my new bank details for this months debit order as requested like many of their peers are able to accommodate their customers in this regard.

I asked the consultant by the name Thembekile who promised me that Xolile the floor manager will call me back to discuss yesterday 17 Sept 2018. This has not happened yet, and i'm peeved and disappointed at Telkom's policies and service. I WANT SERVICE!!!!
