Nootbook Theft From Property

On the 29th of December a telkom technician had come to my residence to install Wifi and a telkom line. The tech said to me that he needs to install new cabling because the line is bad. the notebook was in my parents room and the tech was in the room with the door closed. The work he did was terrible and he was so much in a rush to leave. He had a briefcase which was big enough to put the notebook in. The technician was the only person to come into our house and my parents room. Telkom is doing nothing to help us and giving us the run around. Please can you help.
