Nonchalant Customer "Care"

<p>Telkom never fails to amaze me with their nonchalant attitude towards their customer. Only Telkom (a phone company) could have systems in place where their own agents can talk to their internal departments.</p> <p>No one takes ownership and is able to sort out a customer problem.</p> <p>ALL our office lines have now been dead for 11 days! Do you think i can get any sort of ETA on how much longer it will take? Just get told “could be today or 6 months time”</p> <p>Due to the poor line quality provided to us we have always had a problem with internet connectivity. @telkom solved this by selling me an integrated DSL line that ran over 3G. This was working great, until saturday, when they decided to change this package and stop it (with no comment or warning)!! So on saturday we found ourselves with no phone lines and no internet connection. BUSINESS CLOSED.</p> <p>Ive called in about 6 times. Been into the Telkom stores. I have not been contacted once! nothing, nada, zip.</p> <p>Fortunately we have a special 0861 number which we got them to divert to our cell number so we can still recieve calls, but guess what, we have to pay for all those cell phone calls to our number even though Telkom has the fault. At least their business is still making money!!</p> <p>How can any company abuse their customers in this way and still stay in business? Oh yes, a monopoly</p>
