Non Working Telkom Line (For Pensioners)

Hi, I have parents that are over 70 years old,about 2 months ago our landline phone was replaced with the cordless phone. It has been giving us problems ever since. Its now been over a month and our line is not working. We have been to numerous Telkom shops as well as calling the call centers but no solution is given,they just tell us that they will escalate the matter but nothing happens. My parents are old and need the landline for emergencies as they have chronic illnesses. Terrible service , will not recommend Telkom to anyone
