Non-supply of adsl line when infrastructure exists
I wanted to transfer my ADSL line from old residence to new one, but was advised that no infrastructure existed. However, everything is in the estate and when re-applying and advising that infrastructure is in place, my application was again denied and I was advised to get LTE. no issues with LTE (great product). However, I again app**** with 4 other owners, only to find out their applications have been approved and mine not. Last week I met the technician in the eatate and he advised that a 50-line supply cable is coming into the estate with only 2 lines used so there shouldn't be an issue for me. So, because I was wrongfully denied the adsl service, I want to cancel the lte and get uncapped adsl again. When I phoned Telkom I was advised by CC agent that I can apply but should speak to telkom mobile to cancel the service. Telkom mobile agent advised that there will be a cost implication. This is totally rediculous - I believe Telkom is at fault here and should cancel my LTE contract and give me the service I was wrongfully denied being uncapped ADSL. This has been an issue since June this year
