No Telkom towers,no phone calls!

I recently moved from MTN -- PATHETIC to Telkom. Initially all went well,even porting the number. I had to go to Marble Hall on business today and could not make any calls. Every time I tried,a recorded message told me I could not make International Calls..!! ***????<br> After contacting Telkom 5 times, I was told to remove the sim,replace it,switch it back on -DID NOT WORK.<br> I was even told that my cell was changed to include Roaming and all should be ok. ***? Marble Hall is in SA!!!!<br> I was then told to switch my network to MTN... DID NOT WORK!!<br> Eventually,I was informed there was no Telkom towers and I will not be able to make any calls! *** do I have a cell-phone that I can NOT use!!! ????
