No support if no cell phone!

Unbelievable! It seems that one cannot test a landline or report a fault without providing a cell phone number. Which I don't want to do, because them I get unwanted spam SMSs. (Complained about twice on Hellopeter, but still without the promised resolution,)<br> <br> After declining to leave a cell phone number at 10210, I then hung on for over 38 minutes listening to a variety of alternative suggestions etc. After 37 minutes the line went dead, and a minute later that changed to a dialing tone. While still clocking up the connect seconds.<br> <br> The Telkom website is no better. Whether going directly into reporting a fault, or trying to use \Contact us"";15/02/13 13:51;3;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ***;815913;708808;13;2;0;1;0;0;2;NULL;NULL;NULL;15/02/13 9:08;15/02/13 7:26;*****;8,50E+12;Levoy van der Merwe;***;I had 2x vehicles (Ssanyong Rexton and a Ssanyong Actyon) which I traded in on 22 Aug 2014 for one vehicle (Suzuki Grand Vitara). The 2x Ssanyongs up to date has not been settled by Suzuki, I have 3x vehicles still on my name. Suzuki Witbank does not know where the 2x Ssanyongs are, the one is missing and the other one has been sold. The premiums are still going off on my bank account. The owner of Suzuki is missing, the new owners of Suzuki says it is not their problem, the police says they don't understand my ***** case and the banks are also not helping. I can not afford 3x vehicles on my name and also I do not even have 3 vehicles but I need to pay all 3. I think the service at Suzuki is unacceptable seeing that I bought and traded in the vehicles with SUZUKI so they are responsible for settling the 2 vehicles, but I have no luck and they just keep saying that it is not their problem!!;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ***;269608;893260;16;2;0;1;0;0;2;NULL;NULL;NULL;15/02/13 8:54;15/02/13 7:35;Overcharging Contract after 24 month period ended;N***;;***;MTN continues to charge for the hardware cost of a cellphone, long past the 24-month contract period (which ended in November 2014).
