No Service Telkom

I signed a 24 month contract with Telkom in October 2017 for an LTE modem in Umdloti. This is only used to arm and disarm my security at a house which is not lived in. The system is so unstable no service is provided every time the weather is bad and with various other excuses. I have asked them to convert my contract to fibre optic cable but they are not in the area. There is no service for days at a time which is critical for my security and cameras to be viewed from Johannesburg. The Umhlanga Telkom branch offer me more data at hugely additional cost - why when the current system doesn't work? I waste time every week trying to arm and disarm the system - never mind the expensive cameras I installed. If you need reliable data in Umdloti do not consider Telkom as it is a nightmare trying to get service.
