No Service - Swapping telephone no

Phone was out of order. Technician came to fix whilst I was on holiday. Now have lost my number to someone else. 2nd line non existent. When you phone my number it is working but is connected to someone else who is using my account and I am going to get billed for his calls as it appears on my account. How on earth can my number that I have had for 37 years now be connected to someone else. This was reported originally on the 8th March (the out of order bit). I received a message on 10th March to say all is restored - I thought great at least my phone will be working when I get back . But - When I got back on the 21st both my lines are now non existent. They send you a report reply to rate their service when you give them a 0 they ask what is the problem but do nothing about trying to correct the problem, This is now the 4th month that I have had problems with them. Every time they work in the area something goes wrong with the telephones. Now getting a bit sick of it.<br>
