No service from telkom

Good Day

I have been struggling to get assistance from Telkom for well over a week now. The internet light on my router went off on the 23nd of January. With that I received a sms on the 24th of January from Telkom saying there is an outage in our area. On the 25th of January we received a sms saying the fault has been restored. Our internet however was not working. So on the 25th of January after the sms saying all was restored I phoned Mweb ( my ISP) to check if the fault was on their end. They could not find a fault and I phoned Telkom to log a fault that our internet was still down. They told me that the line was syncing but that it was not authenticating. I got a sms saying our fault has been logged and Telkom will resolve the problem as soon as possible. On the 26th of January when I phoned to check on the progress the call centre agent told me the problem has been resolved ( I did not receive a sms). The problem was not resolved and we had to re-log the issue. I got yet another sms saying the fault has been logged ( after it was dismissed without my knowledge). I phoned them every day to check on the progress of the fault. I phoned them again on Wednesday the 31st of January and they said they are waiting to assign the fault to a technician to repair the fault. I have received no indication from them as to when the problem will be solved yet. They escalated the problem on the 31st to get the problem resolved and nothing has been done. There has been no technician assigned to the case yet. We asked to speak to a supervisor on the 1st of February and one was not available to speak to us. They said the regional manager would contact us ( this also has not happened yet). This is absolutely disgusting service from Telkom. We have been customers for more than five years now and this is the service they provide. Could someone please assist me to get the issue resolved. Telkom please this is becoming a nuisance as we get no direction or assistance from you.
