No Resolution Despite escalation Case number ***2

Good Day

I reported my uncapped Wireless LTE internet issue to Telkom more than 48 hours ago. On Sunday last week I was getting a whopping 25.22 download speed and a 5.41 upload which was perfect on Monday it started dropping by Wednesday it went as low as 0.85 Download. I did not move the router or do anything to change this. I reported it to Mandla early on Wednesday morning. I told him that the matter was extremely urgent as I work from home and could loose my job as a result of this.

I then spoke to Thulani Nyoni who attempted to help me further but with no joy. I then spoke to Sifiso Madondo who has escalated this matter further. Please see email below.

Good Day Sifiso

Thank you for the email.

I am aware that your team say between 2 - 72 hours turn around time but it does not have to take that long.

I am very concerned as tomorrow is the magic 72 hours mark and I have heard nothing from your technical department. This is very serious. As I have mentioned that I have been suspended from work due to not having proper internet connection and as a result will not be paid for the last 48 hours thanks to Telkom.

How do you/they intend to rectify this matter before the 72 hours is exceeded? Telkom expects me to pay a full bill at month end when I have not had the full benefit of your service and as a result of its snail paced service I will not receive a full pay.

Failure to rectify this matter will result in my contract being terminated by my employer. Then who will pay for this service?

I am very disappointed at Telkom's poor service.

Regards
Andrea Cronje

On 12 August 2016 at 14:07, Sifiso Madondo (SN) ********** wrote:
Good Andrea

I trust you well

This is a email confirmation from myself as per our conversation this morning regarding you internet contract case. The case has been logged for you as you cannot access your internet and I have advised you that I have further escalated the case for you to the back office to provide you with feedback as soon as possible. The email has been sent through and I have included my manager in the email request them to respond ASAP. You requested we escalate this further for you due to the fact that you work with your internet and that the turnaround time for them to attend to a case is 2- 72 working hours. I apologies for the late response however this is the confirmation requested by you that I have escalated this query further to the back office and explained the seriousness of your query since it is work related.

Thanks for your time and patience

Kind Regards

Sifiso
