No Repair Service from Telkom Technicians

I am writing this this review on behalf of our neighbors. We live in Oranjeville and it seems that Telkom has forgotten about this little town in the Free State. Mr. Kleinhans from 16 de Beer Str. Telkom no. ********** 950 has been without a phone now for 2 months and 1 week. I myself reported the phone a second time and was told a technician was booked for 30/01/2018. Today 06/02/2018 still no sign of a technician. Mr Kleinhans has a paraplegic son, so a phone is important to them. Cell phone signal is very poor and unreliable in our town. We are 60km away from the nearest hospital but there is an ambulance service in Denysville 20km away. But if you can't phone, what use is this service to someone in need. I cannot believe that Telkom technicians just ignore this call out just because it is inconvenient to travel to our town. (this is my assumption.) If Telkom do not want to service landlines in our area, they should offer Mr. Kleinhans alternatives.
