No repair of damaged cables over weekend

We are having new fibre cables installed in our area (Lorraine, Port Elizabeth) and the Telkom cables have been damaged in the process. Phone and ADSL lines are off since Friday night (25 01 19) and to this moment (Sunday, 27 01 19, 17:00) service has not been restored. I feel this is unacceptable. It is weekend, yes, but I am pretty sure something could have been done to restore service, at least temporarily. Also no update available from Telkom. I know they did not damage the cables but it is still necessary for them to fix it now I believe. All pretty annoying and inconveniencing for business and life!!! We are paying for a service that we do not get now.
