No reaction to a logged case after 2 months

Telkom sold me a phone and a two year plan with the promise that I will have reception at my home in Stanford. As it turns out I have extremely weak reception (even Cell C is better). So weak in fact that I do not receive (or can make) calls without going outside and standing in the garden.

On Fri 18 Nov 2016 I logged a call (case ********** 7) to have this seen to; i.e. send somebody out with a spectrum meter and/ or give me an amplifier.

On Mon 21 Nov 2016 Telkom tried to contact me twice. But how can they expect to get me when I do not have reception? Of course these calls are missed - that is the whole point of my logged case.

On Mon 21 Nov 2016 Telkom then sends me an sms saying that the issue has been resolved. This is a blatant lie and whoever made such a statement, or updated the Telkom database with that entry should be fired!

On Mon 21 Nov 2016 I then went to the local (Herm****) Telkom office to log a new case (case No ********** 9).

Since then I got a phonecall - once, with the promise that somebody will come out to my home and check this out.

It is now 2 months later and nothing has happened.

Shocking service! Unacceptable! Either solve it or give me my money back!

Reviewer Update

It is now 5 April and still no action from Telkom Mobile. All I get is a sms - about one per month - saying that the case (No ********** or ********** 9) 'is still in hand with our Networks Department'. They don't even know what the case number is, it changes over time. In the meantime I still have to go outside to make calls.

Telkom Mobile does a lot of advertising re lower cost data plans than the competitors. But these are hardly on any use if we do not get associated reception.
