no internet

my internet has been off for the past 4days (fault by the exchange) or so they say i've been calling several times and i even logged faults online no one comes back to me only when i call and finally get through to someone they just tell me they busy fixing the problem.i had alot of problems in the past with my internet line just when i thought it got better its starting to get worse.
