No Intention of Repair on Obvious Fault

For the past TWO (2) YEARS, we have been logging faults with Telkom about our telephone/ADSL line. The line is hanging dangerously close to the ground, is overgrown, and the telephone pole is falling over, causing damage to the neighbour's wall. On numerous occasions technicians have been called out to assess the situation and comment that the pole is a SAFETY HAZARD! Yet nothing is done. The technician leaves and the fault is marked as resolved and nobody comes to fix it.
Two weeks ago a technician assessed the situation and told me he would have to go back to the office and file a request with the contractor who would \come round in the next couple of days"and that he had to mark the fault as resolved because of \""job time\"". The job was marked as resolved almost immediately but NOTHING HAS HAPPENED! It is impossible to run a home business online with a faulty line where the SNR is usually 10 and attenuation is nearly 50dB!
The service we have received over the last two years is disgusting"
