No follow up on line cell phone contract

I have gone onto the Telkom mobile site and signed up for a new cellphone contract. On completion , i was told someone will contact me 24 to 48 hours . But I have not received any calls from Telkom. I called the Telkom 10210 number to follow up and was told to call another number where I was on hold for more than 20mins

This is really bad service for good products that they advertise
